I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Sam’s Club in Evanston. I placed an order for a customized birthday cake for my daughter along with 30 customized cupcakes, and I was given a specific pickup time. Unfortunately, the bakery did not have the order ready on time, which caused a lot of stress and inconvenience on an important day. What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the bakery staff and the supervisor. Instead of taking responsibility and trying to resolve the issue professionally, I felt that I was given excuses and misleading information about the status of my order. The staff’s attitude was disrespectful and completely unacceptable for a customer who had placed an order in advance. If Sam’s Club accepts a customized order and commits to a pickup time, customers should be able to rely on that commitment. Being on time and communicating honestly with customers should be a basic expectation. Very disappointing experience. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the bakery’s customer service, communication, and commitment to promised pickup times.

I bought gas with my Sam s credit card at this location also shopped inside the store.A day later I exchanged couple of items. It took more than 13 minutes at the register to do the exchange. They could not read the receipt, they could not type the numbers, the registers presumably did not "work". They kept telling me to be patient, I had driven 8 min to the store ( during a work break)and took almost twice as long to do the exchange.. with no one else in line Next day I got a text from Sam s Club bank that someone tried to charge my card for more than 1500$ for shopping on line. That transaction luckily was declined. They will investigate but I have strong suspicions that it might be an "inside job" The store is otherwise well supplied. I might not shop inside at that location , I did not have a good experience.

Moe and Anibal were extremely helpful on a Sunday morning. I asked a question on a product that wasn’t on the floor and they efficiently located the product and brought it to me at self-checkout. I really appreciated their willingness to help as quickly as they could considering the product was on a shelf where they needed a manager to oversee it being brought down. While I’ve always enjoyed my Evanston Sam’s Club experience, they made me love this location even more! Great team work here and it’s appreciated :)

Don't get me wrong, the workers here are cordial and kind. My problem lies in the curbside pickup. If you are going to offer the service, it shouldn't be waiting forever to get a curbside spot. On 4/20/26 I waited for a curbside spot while 11 of the 16 curbside spots had no patrons in them as they used the spot to park close And shop inside. I would think a week of towing unattended cars could improve your curbside service. Again, store is great, unfortunately clientele abusing privileges is the issue.

Had an awesome shopping experience here today! The store was clean, well stocked and the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the Sushi Chef! Know I know what you’re thinking “Sushi? From Sam’s Club?” I thought the SAME thing! But let me tell you that the freshly made sushi I ate here today was every bit as delicious as the $30 dollar sushi I’ve had at several nice restaurants. So, if you’re in the area and need to stock up on food (and really good sushi), I highly recommend this Sam’s Club! 😃👍
